Today the sun woke me up. For once I was able to wake up before the girls. They didn't have school today. How often does St. Patrick's Day come around with no school?? So Braden helped me in the kitchen while I cooked up a fun St. Patrick's Day breakfast. We turned our pancakes Green, and the eggs Green, and had hash browns, and Green grapes. I called the girls down to surprise them and they were elated! The color didn't really sway the kids from eating a great breakfast. In fact, the only thing they didn't like were the hash browns, not colored Green. They thought it was too spicy since it was Southwest flavored.

char you are a way better mom than me... i didn't even tell mckenna about st patrick's day... let alone make green pancakes. what a cute idea. in my defense, a 2 year old probably wouldn't understand the whole "leprechaun" (did i spell that right?) concept. next year i'll steal your idea! and btw... brook and brek? wow you stay in contact with everyone from mit! lol
