St. George Marathon

Friday went without a hitch. I had to stay home due to the long drive that I'm sure I couldn't deal with plus a trip to the Diabetic Clinic. Brad and the kids left at 7am, still dark and cold. They arrived just after lunch and stayed with dear friends of ours.
The next morning, was the race and it was cold and windy! Brad found out that the last time it rained during the marathon was 25 years ago!! Although the weather wasn't cooperating, Brad was still on pace to make his goal of 3 hours and 15 minutes. But at mile 16, his hip that he thought was healed started to hurt again and that slowed him down. He ended up finishing in 3 hours and 42 minutes. This is still a great time and we are so proud that he was able to finish. Since the "photographer" was at home, here are just a few pictures of the weekend they were able to capture. Thank you Mary and Kade for opening your home to us and to Mom and Dad for making the drive up from Las Vegas to support Brad too!!
