Friday was show and teach in Morgan's class. When she found out it was her turn to bring something special to teach the first thing that came to mind was good ol' Frank. Megan also got the chance to show off Frank in her class as well. The assignment was a little bothersome for me since I don't exactly like to pick up Frank. But when it was time to go, I diligently brought the two boys, Braden and Frank, to school and walked into Morgan's class. Immediately that brought on chaos for a few minutes with all the little first graders excited to see an animal in class. Once they got in their circle, Morgan quietly sat down with a nervous Frank and answered some questions her classmates had. About 30 seconds after this photo was taken, Frank wiggled his way out of Morgan's arms and ran out of the classroom. He ran down the hall past 3 classes, keep in mind their doors were open too. He stopped to think for a moment and I caught his front leg and grabbed him and brought Frank back into the classroom and SHUT the door. Why didn't I think if this before havoc ran out the door?

Frank the Cat
Do you have a pet that is considered part of the family?? I'm still retaliating. But for the rest of the family, they sure do love this feline. We got Frank from a friend of ours.
They were unable to keep him in their apartment. And after having a puppy in our house for less than 24 hours the day before, (too much work) the kids were pretty upset. Brad was leery about having a cat. Hated them actually. But went along with it for the kids. So here's the happy kids with Frank a few months after we got him.
So two years later Frank seems to think he runs this place. In the laundry room sitting on Brad's stinky work out clothes.....
Here is our latest find. He's sitting on top of Brad's basket on our dresser. Talk about top heavy!!
