Carving Pumpkins

After weeks of letting the pumpkins sit out on the porch, I let the kids pick out templates for their pumpkins and let them carve away. Putting newspaper on the floor didn't help as much as I would have liked. I left the room for a while and Morgan and Braden had pumpkin guts up their arms and all around the newspaper. Once the pumpkins were carved, we roasted pumpkins and flavored them with cinnamon and sugar. YUM!
