Morgan's Basketball Season

Morgan's 5th grade girls basketball season has begun. She was lucky enough to be on the same team as her best friend, Faith. Their first game was a huge win.

Twins Turn 3!!

Ethan's been caught!

Our sweet friend, Jody made this awesome cake with the boys. They love playing with cars and of course that's what our theme had to be. However, as I was coming down the stairs, the boys' faces lips were black. I ran into the kitchen and saw this! I screamed, but then had to laugh. How could I expect them not to touch their own cake before it was ready? It looked too good not to eat right?!?

Our Baby of the Babies

When our Ammon was a wee little one, I thought he was going to be a mastermind of mischievousness. Well he still is, but there are such sweet moments of what a nice little boy he is. Tonight, Brad cut a slice of zucchini bread to Ammon. Ammon said, "Nother one." Brad handed him a second piece and Ammon then turned around and called Ethan's name and started walking towards him to give him a slice of bread. It's so tender when he thinks of his brother without someone even asking him to.

He's quick to say, "Thank you" whenever we give him something. He's learning Mom responds quicker to his "wants" if he includes a please. So here are some moments of how truly sweet and happy this little guy is.

Ammon holding Ethan close.

Bursting with excitement as he goes down the slide, over and over again.

Helping Ethan up the slide.

Playing with cousins.

Summer Break-July

I didn't intend to take a break from updating our blog when school ended. But apparently it happened that way. We decided to have a little fun with the sprinklers and our tarp to cool off a little bit.

The boys enjoyed their new table their grandma and grandpa brought for them and read lots of books.

Morgan Turns 10

Megan threw Morgan a SURPRISE birthday party. She took care of all the details from creating invites to being in charge of all the different games. I have to admit, the other 9 birthdays she's had, she never had a real birthday party. We'd always invite a cousin to go swimming with us. But never any celebration like this! So here are some photos we captured from her special day.

Morgan's breakfast in bed made by the kids.
Megan decorated her door with streamers and love notes from each of the kids.

While one of her friends was nice enough to take distract Morgan for a few hours, Megan transformed the house into FUN! for the afternoon.

This birthday cake was made by one of our dear friends. But I was lucky to help decorate it. She helped me with the colors and different embellishments for the cake that made it look fun and reflect Morgan's style. It was so fun to help design this cake and use Morgan's favorite colors. And boy it was so good!

Surprise!!!!

After the things settled a little bit, it was time for slip n slide!

After games from Minute to Win It and presents unwrapped, it was time for cake and ice cream.

Morgan had a great day!! She makes our family laugh and is so helpful and full of energy! We love you so much Morgan!
